Frequently asked questions

The essentials on how Fi-Tune/12 works and what it does not promise.

What is an expert-judgment dataset?

It is a structured collection of cases in which a specialist’s judgment is recorded together with its context, the alternatives considered, the risks, the uncertainty and the rationale for the decision. It captures not only the final answer but the reasoning behind it.

What is it used for?

To train artificial intelligence systems with examples of human decisions in specific domains, and to evaluate their responses with cases, rubrics and edge conditions.

Do you work on commission?

Yes. Each dataset is designed around the specific problem the client needs to address. We do not sell a catalog of prebuilt datasets.

What does the work process look like?

Four stages: define the problem and its acceptance criteria, structure the expert reasoning and its exceptions, review the consistency of the examples, and iterate based on what the evaluation shows. It is a working framework, not a promise of quantified outcomes.

Do you train models, or guarantee that a model will improve?

No. Fi-Tune/12 designs, curates and evaluates datasets. We do not guarantee improvement in any specific model: any improvement must be verified through tests agreed with the client.

Who is behind Fi-Tune/12?

It is an initiative of Claudio A. Gutiérrez Venegas, a strategic consultant, associated with IEXS Consultoría Estratégica (iexs.cl) and based in Magallanes, Chile.

Why Magallanes?

Because expert judgment does not depend on where it is generated, but on how well it is documented. We work from the far south of Chile with the ambition of serving the international market.

How do you handle sensitive or confidential information?

A dataset can be built from synthetic cases or, where appropriate, from real cases only with prior authorization and sufficient anonymization. Confidentiality terms are agreed with the client before an engagement begins.

Which language do you work in?

Spanish is the starting point, with attention to the nuances of Latin American expert judgment. English versions require specialist human validation to preserve equivalence of judgment.

Do you offer consulting or training on AI decision-making?

Fi-Tune/12 focuses on expert-judgment datasets. Consulting and training on decisions with artificial intelligence are provided by IEXS (iexs.cl).

How can I contact you?

Use the form in the contact section of the home page, or WhatsApp. Tell us what you need to evaluate or improve and we will assess whether a specialized dataset could serve your project.
